Our Emmerdale spoilers reveal that, with Matty Barton being held in prison for stabbing Samson, Moira and Cain’s marriage begins to suffer. As Moira desperately attempts to save her son, she takes out her fury at the situation on Cain.

Emmerdale spoilers: Matty’s suffering
As Matty‘s ordeal continues, Amy and Moira pay him a visit in prison. He seems on edge when Moira mentions his medication, and confesses that he hasn’t showered since he arrived.
Back at the Dingles’, Samson gets ready for work. However, he’s unsettled by the arrival of Cain.
Knowing that Josh was really behind it, Cain pleads with Samson not to let Matty go to jail, aware of the damage it could do to him. Later, Moira is saddened to hear that Samson is still sticking to his story and backing Josh.
Moira tears a strip off Cain
A tentative plan to save Matty starts to form. Meanwhile, Moira implies that there’s more than one way to skin a cat, and follows Samson to the Woolpack toilets. Her face darkens as she corners him, but just what is she planning?
Afterwards, Cain tries to warn Moira about messing up Matty’s case. Unfortunately, Moira doesn’t want to hear any of it, and verbally humiliates Cain at the dinner table.
The next day, Moira is full of regret as Cain reminds her of some of the hurtful things she said.
Later, Cain returns to Butlers also very drunk, and things spiral out of control. Moira is left shaken, with both her marriage and her life falling apart.
Meanwhile, Kerry has her own plan to get the truth. She schmoozes with Josh at the Woolpack. As they talk, she attempts to secretly record their conversation on her phone – eager for him to confess all.
However, her plan soon backfires. Can Matty’s friends and family save him from prison – before it destroys Cain and Moira’s marriage?
