BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball issued an update following an “emergency” medical issue.
The star shared the update on Instagram last night (Wednesday, June 26).

53-year-old Zoe revealed that she lost a tooth recently – which led to her undergoing “emergency” dental treatment.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a snap of Jon Pertwee’s Worzel Gummidge. With an arrow, she pointed out the character’s missing tooth.
“About last night,” she captioned the post. She then added a gif of teeth falling out of some dentures, as well as the words “Oops”.
In the next story post, she shared a snap of Garth Algar from Wayne’s World.
“Me now,” she captioned the post, referring to his long blonde locks and full set of gnashers.
“Thanks to Maddy at Dentalessence Burgess Hill for the emergency rescue,” she captioned the post.
BBC Radio 2 Zoe Ball pays tribute to late mum
Back in April, Zoe was left devastated when her mum died, just weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
Sharing snaps of her mum on Instagram, she paid tribute.
“Sleep tight dear Mama,” she wrote.
“Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy, and how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts,” she continued.
“We are bereft without you but will hold so tight to each other. Your grace and your smile that lit up every room you were in, will light the stars to guide us,” she then added.

Zoe returns to work
Following her mum’s death, Zoe took a break from hosting her BBC Radio 2 show. She returned a few weeks later.
Kicking off her show at 6.30am on May 13, Zoe said: “Good morning gang! How are you all, you lovely sorts?”
She then continued, saying: “Thank you so much to Owain – loved a bit of Tusk on the air drum anthem this morning. A boost in my bones that I needed, very much so.
“Thanks so much to Gaby [Roslin] for being here for you guys for the last few weeks – and for being here for me. I’m so grateful to you all for your amazing messages about my dear mum,” she then added.
